Alfie is our second dogue de bordeaux and as you can see he is very handsome. We chose alfie as we were looking for a quality male with excellent bloodlines and temperament.
Alfie is sired by the truely magnificent 'ch emberez apollo' who is without question one of the best bordeauxs in the uk at present. Apollo is int,bel,ned and french champion and was also awarded bordeaux of the year 2006! He also has an excellent hip score of just 9 and is the deepest of red. Alfies dam 'amber' is owned and loved by tracy and jonathon of gingerninga kennels, she is lockerice breeding with many quality dogues in her lines including ch nabulki and the legendary red thunder 'bronson' and she is sound in health and temperament.
With all this we are sure that alfie will be a stunning example of his breed, he is very dark and has minimal white, not to mention a great character and faultless temperament with people, children and other dogs.
Alfie had his 1st litter on 10th jan 08, they were all stunning puppies and can be seen on our 'Dogues we have bred' page. We kept the first born of this very special litter, she is 'Ruby' and is very pretty and has combined all the qualities of both her mum and dad.
Alfie has now sired 3 stunning litters and is confidently offered at stud to kc registered, healthy bitches over the age of 20 months, he has produced some amazing puppies and passes his superb temperament and deep colour onto his kids.
